HOMESTEAD is a wide-release theatrical film and multi-season TV series based on the Black Autumn saga, a best-selling book series.
An offshore nuclear attack quickly unwinds the fabric of modern society, shattering the lives of millions of ordinary people. The HOMESTEAD story follows several families as they struggle to survive at the Homestead, a farming and survivalist compound set in the mountain-west. The story focuses on community, family, and faith in the face of overwhelming danger, depravation, and tyranny.
The 10 Ton team raised capital, established brand partnerships, assembled the initial team, and architected a multi-prong approach for building an entire Homestead ecosystem: movie + narrative TV series + reality TV series + product marketplace.

A show that teaches important lessons through zany adventures and clever stories, Ethan and Emily Tuttle are a pair of inquisitive and daring twins on a quest to learn and grow. When the twins’ Grandma Gabby moves in with their family, she begins to teach them all about liberty, freedom, and economics— with the help of her pet raccoon, Derek, and her time-traveling wheelchair.
As Executive Producer, Benton helped raise the capital, assemble the initial team, and build a long-term strategy for making Tuttle Twins Show sustainable. Benton continues to serve on the show's board of directors and help guide high-level strategy.

Benton Crane
As co-founder of Angel Studios and former CEO of HarmonBrothers.com, Benton spent a decade making viral videos to grow companies like Squatty Potty, Purple, Poo~Pourri, Lume Deodorant, and The Chosen. Benton launched 10 Ton to develop movies and TV series for the Angel Studios eco-system.
Mike Strong
Mike is a serial entrepreneur with multiple exits. His business expertise is one of 10 Ton’s unique advantages, allowing us to treat each property as a start-up company instead of just a film project.
Matt Peterson
Matt is a software engineer, entrepreneur, and angel investor. Matt’s most recent company, Jive Communications, is a cloud-based telecommunications SaaS company with over 700 employees. Jive was acquired by LogMein (NASDAQ: LOGM) in 2018. Matt is helping 10 Ton push the boundaries in using technology (Including AI) to improve entertainment properties we develop.
Austin Wilson
With a background in film production, marketing, product, and AI generation, Austin led the branding and marketing for the Angel Film SIGHT, led the creation of video assets for Sound of Freedom and he helped several productions get development and production funding for their projects. He joined 10 Ton to help develop movies and TV series.
